*You’re Not Challenging Yourself Enough
I don’t care if you have 20 minutes or 60
minutes to put towards exercise each day..
If you don’t challenge yourself by using
implementing some kind of strength training ,
varying your rep schemes, or
taking shorter rest periods..
Your fat will be in for the long haul and
won’t go anywhere
*Your Testosterone Levels aren’t Optimal
To purge that extra (unwanted) fat from your
body, high testosterone is important to keep
For most clients I recommend at least twice
a week having a diet that is rich in fats
Especially the saturated ones..
Yes, saturated fats
As long as high quality fats aren’t mixed
with a high carbohydrate diet
(low carb on these days)
Than testosterone production will be
flourishing and so
will accelerated weight loss
fish oil high in epa and dha is a must as

Breaking down your diet..
I hear it all the time from people.. “Diet’s just don’t work for me”
Diet’s do work..at least the one’s that are fit specifically for you, mapped out by calculated macronutrients and making sure your in a proper caloric deficit
The problem is that most people jump between one diet to another without really in sense of direction
Worse, they hear the cliche advice just “eat clean” and you’ll be fine
First off when it comes to “eating clean” your body has no idea whether your eating “clean” or “dirty” foods..(more on this rant for a later post)
Most will start a diet with good intentions, but they are usually just going through the motions with no real plan of action..
As soon as things start get tough or temptations start to occur in your life
You end up falling into the same bad habits you had once before
Using the typical excuse “nothing will work for me”
It’s going to happen I promise you
You will plateau, but you need to know how to fix it once it happens
In the initial stages of your transformation journey you begin to see progress..
Start losing weight at a rapid rate, you feel incredible, your feeling as confident as can be..
Than it happens
Progress comes to a halt and you decide to try and trick your body by cutting even more calories in your diet..
Bad move..Your body will fight back making you eventually surrender and fail yet again
We live in the society of instant gratification
So getting things fast is just the norm..
but when it comes to losing weight or getting lean you must be clear and set expectations that can be progressively met.
In order to achieve lasting Results you must thing long term..
Create a plan of action that has you gradually losing weight throughout a specific period of time
It’s time to go beyond the quick-fix..because if you don’t you will remain exactly the same
because you tried putting the effort in, but in reality you didn’t reach the goals you set for yourself
Instead of Focusing on what you don’t have already..

Your body is smart and will try to remain in homeostasis (the current state of your body) as long as it can
If you try to cut in terms of calories or the dreaded mistake of cardio overload..

Two things to take in to account..(seriously write this down)
1. Weight loss will never ever happen in a linear fashion
2. Stop worrying about the scale. Scale weight is very inaccurate and serves little importance in terms of measuring your
overall progression (keep reading for more on this)
Whether it’s water retention, food intake, training, gaining lean muscle, or filled glycogen levels
your weight will fluctuate on a daily basis
I understand, it’s a tangible number to track..there’s just much better (more accurate) ways to depict progress
Don’t get me wrong you should write down the progress that you have made from week to week , but..
Things like body fat measurements and updated progress photos will give you a more accurate reading of your overall progress
In the end it goes further than “hey, how much weight have you lost..?”
The real question is..
How does your body look and most important how do you feel?
If you lost 30 pounds of fat (that’s more than awesome), but are you flaccid looking with no real definition and you still aren’t happy in your own body..
Then please tell me again why scale weight matters..

So you can finally feel confident, no matter if you have your shirt on or off..
Before we dive into the cure of ridding moobs for good.
Let’s dive deep into the root of the problem.
The simple explanation for possessing moobs is do to an imbalance between two hormones.
More specifically, it’s the conversion of enzymes produced through testosterone that ultimately turn into more estrogen.
Regardless of how “Manly” your are as a person
Testosterone should be your top priority as far as optimizing overall health and vitality.
-More Defined Lean Muscle
-Greater Fat Loss
-Increase in Sex Drive
-Improvement of Overall Energy Levels
All great outcomes that having higher testosterone can give you
Though both males and females possess estrogen, it’s important to make sure the male doesn’t
produce mass quantities of it.
If you have excessive amounts of estrogen roaming through your body as a male, you will begin to form
similar fat patterns to that of your female counterpart.
i.e. Wider Hips & Breasts
The first step is to take control of your estrogen levels.
I’ll tell you right now, if your 25-30 plus pounds overweight for your frame, your only goal should be to lose a significant amount of fat, before
creating a defined good looking chest.
Better yet, for your healths sake, if you drop just ten pounds of body fat, you will begin to see massive improvements.
The other culprit that keeps your breast at large is excessive drinking of beer. The estrogenic compounds contained in beer are delivered straight from the hops.
Though booze in general isn’t necessarily your friend in a fat loss protocol, you still can live a little and have the body you want.
Let’s break down the “how to” on ditching these things for good
This should be a given, but you must make sure your doing the right protocol..
Running and Endless Cardio will actually hinder your results (more on this in a later post)
If you begin to weight train, even for just 3 times a week, you will begin to see significant improvement in both your
body fat numbers and testosterone levels.
2) Fix Your Diet
Again, coming as no surprise if you want to stop being top heavy, you need to turn your food habits around.
No, you don’t have to eat 6-8 meals per day of chicken and broccoli..
That’s ridiculous and I would never recommend putting any of my busy coaching clients through this type of regimen.
However, you have to start being conscious of what goes down your pie hole.
I recommend start putting more whole foods within your diet. The more green you can go as far as veggies are concerned
Broccoli in general will contain nutrients that will help regulate overall estrogen levels and keep things balanced.
That doesn’t mean you have to put them in every meal or live like a hermit..
You just need to start throwing them in, it will help a ton.
For one final recommendation. Take in at least 25-30 grams of soluble fiber a day.
This will help pull any lingering estrogen agents from your body.
Extra fiber sources:
-Chia Seeds (magical seeds that contain at least 3-4 grams of fiber per tablespoon)
-Any original fiber supplement
